Description
Introduction:
The PIR Motion Sensor Detector Module HC SR501 allows you to sense motion. It is almost always used to detect the motion of a human body within the sensor’s range. It is often referred to using “PIR”, “Pyroelectric”, “Passive Infrared” and “IR Motion” sensors.
Specification: Application:
Wide Working Voltage Range: DC 4.5V- 20V Detect Infrared (IR) radiation from objects
Current Drain: <60uA Motion detection
Detection Angle: <140° Automatic lighting system.
Detection Distance: 3 to 7m (can be adjusted) Security system
Blockade time: 2.5s (Default)
Work temperature: -20-+80°C
Features:
The module has an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens. It has a delay time adjustment Potentiometer and sensitivity adjustment Potentiometer. Compatible with ARDUINO, RASPBERRY PI, AVR, PIC, 8051, etc.
Automatic infrared detection (LHI778 probe design)
Output goes high when objects enter the sensing range, and automatically returns to low when object leaves
Optional photosensitive control
Optional temperature compensation
Trigger mode jumper
L: Non-repeatable / delay mode: sensor goes low after the delay, regardless of the presence of the object.
H: Repeatable: sensor stays high as long as any object is detected during the delay time.
Wide operating voltage range
Micro-amp power
Output high signal: easy to achieve docking with the various types of circuit.
Infrared technology (LHI778 probe design)
High sensitivity | high reliability
Widely used especially for battery-powered products
