Description
Photodiodes, as the name suggest these are just another type of diodes. These diodes also have an anode and cathode just like a normal LED. But, unlike LED’s these do not emit light. Instead, when they detect light they allow some current to flow through it. The amount of current that flows through the Photodiode is directly proportional to the amount of light detected by the Photodiode.
